Joe O'Connor

Joe is a solar & battery manufacturing entrepreneur as well as a consultant, speaker, and Author of Off Grid Solar. Seeking to amplify his impact after over a decade of traveling to remote places to install solar, Joe decided to share his knowledge and experience of off grid solar energy systems by writing a book. Joe earned his M.S. from NYU Tandon School of Engineering in Manufacturing Engineering and was selected as a recipient of the Catherine B. Reynolds Foundation Fellowship for Social Entrepreneurship. He earned his B.S. from Cal Poly University in Industrial Technology.

Ian Petrich

With over 10 years of experience in solar, Ian has a unique background leading diverse teams of engineers, project managers, and installation contractors both domestically and internationally. Trained in both Change Management and Design Thinking, Ian has experience scaling teams while controlling and reducing costs. During his time at Sungevity, Ian oversaw a pipeline of 60+MW/year of residential solar and 50+ team members as US Operations Director.

Since 2007, our engineering team has been building solar PV and battery systems in the USA, Canada, Central America, and Sub-Saharan Africa.

Installing the Modbox was fast and surprisingly easy. The building owner was amazed to have their lights on in the first day!

Our Mission

We provide high quality, reliable energy storage products that streamline the installation process. We design fully-integrated products so the installer doesn't have to spend time and money on design, installation, and service.

Engineering First

Our engineers have built systems for all climate conditions and we understand the needs for extreme weather conditions. Whether dealing with extreme low temperatures or hot and humid climates, we design systems that provide continuous power.
